Luca Iovino

Luca Iovino was born in Verona in 1983, few years later, though, he moves to Naples, his parents hometown and, as he claims, his real school of photography. At 16 he gets close to this field going out in the streets and taking pictures of what the city has to offer. This experience leads him to architecture photography and urban reportage. In 2005 he actively collaborates with Arkfotolab, a black and white photography laboratory and darkroom set in Naples University, Architecture faculty, where he has the chance to promote workshops and collective exhibitions. In 2007 he becomes Largo Baracche’s official photographer, at SABU cultural association, an artistic space where he has the oppurtunity to meet various artists, both well-known and emerging, from the Italian cultural field. In 2009 he devotes himself to journalism by contributing as a photoreporter with the online newspaper pressagency.it. Since 2010 he lives in Milan where he attended CFP Bauer; in 2012 he obtained the biennial photography course’s degree. In 2014 Luca founds a collective called VibEye Project with Francesco Secchi, a visual laboratory of territorial exploration centred on landscape photography and portraiture.
